We at the Creston – Kootenay Foundation are looking for volunteers.

Volunteers are the strength of our community and of our foundation. If you can spare one evening a month for a meeting and do some work in your home, consider joining our team.

As you will see from our Organizational Structure page, we have a large number of committees, each of which needs volunteers. We can use your help if you have an interest in, and/or knowledge of the following fields: Finances/Accounting, Marketing, Fund Development, Human Resources, Law, and Community Services. Perhaps you have experience with managing an office, arranging workshops, or training staff.

To be a volunteer with the Creston – Kootenay Foundation requires one evening a month and some telephoning from home. To be a board member requires a larger time commitment, up to 15 hours per month – a monthly meeting plus input on program development.
